Ambassador Miguel Bembe, Director of the Directorate Africa, Middle East and Regional Organizations-DAMOOR and Focal Point of the Republic of Angola, attended on 14 and 15 November 2022, in Nairobi, the 32nd Meeting of the Technical Support Committee-TSC for the Regional Supervisory Mechanism of the Framework Agreement for Peace, Security and Cooperation for the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Great Lakes Region.

The Angolan delegation included Ambassador Sianga Abílio, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Republic of Kenya and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Nairobi, and officials from DAMOOR and the Diplomatic Mission in Nairobi. 

The meeting of the Technical Support Committee made an assessment of the evolution of the situation in the Great Lakes region, in particular in Eastern DRC, in the last three months and projected future actions at different levels until the holding, in three months time, of the next (11th) Summit of the Regional Oversight Mechanism of the Framework Agreement for Peace, Security and Cooperation.
