The Minister of the Environment Ana Paula Chantre Luna de Carvalho Pereira visited, on 2nd March 2024,   Nairobi National Park for a safari tour.

During the visit, organised by Ambassador Sianga Abílio, the Minister of the  Environment and her delegation came into contact with the various species that live in this 117 km2 wildlife conservation area, especially lions, buffalo, rhinos, giraffes and hippos.

Nairobi National Park is located seven kilometres from the city of Nairobi and is on the list of Kenya's main tourist sites, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world every year.

The safari tour ended with lunch at the Carnivore restaurant, one of the few restaurants in Kenya authorised to serve bushmeat as part of the management of the balance of the ecosystem in conservation areas.
