The Ambassador of Angola to the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Eng . Sianga Abílio spoke, this Thursday, April 4th, in Nairobi to Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Political Analysts, Businessmen, Journalists, about the need to publicize and mobilize more investors to Angola, for the climate of security and peace that the country has been experiencing for 22 years, since achieving effective peace on April 4, 2002.

The Diplomat spoke when speaking on the topic, “Peace in Angola: A Business Opportunity”.
The Diplomat said that in the field of foreign investment, the Angolan Executive, since 2018, has approved and implemented several legal and economic reforms, with the aim of attracting more private investments, thus restricting all types of bureaucracy.

After interacting with the participants, the Ambassador took the opportunity to highlight that the way in which Angolans achieved Peace and National Reconciliation is an example that has been shared at the level of the Southern Region of the continent and beyond, having highlighted that His Excellency João Manuel l Gonçalves, was distinguished, with the title of Champion of Peace and Reconciliation, by the African Union, the result of his leadership, in the search for peace, dialogue and stability in several countries of the African continent.

The media, the Ambassador of Mozambique, Jerónimo Chivavi participant of the event, said that with the end of the armed conflict, Angola is on the path to progress.

In turn, the Ambassador of South Africa, Mninwa Johannes Mahlangu, said that the peace process in Angola is an example for the African continent, a premise that launches the nation towards development.
