Ambassador Sianga Abílio hosted the monthly meeting of Ambassadors of the SADC Group in Nairobi which was held on 24 February 2023, in Nairobi and attended by the Heads of Diplomatic Missions and diplomats from South Africa, Botswana, Democratic Congo, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

During the meeting, the Ambassadors agreed on the positions of the SADC Group for forthcoming meetings with entities of the host country, Kenya, and for a working meeting scheduled in a few days, with the Management of the United Nations Environment Programme-UNEP.

On the other hand the Ambassadors of the SADC Group discussed the Second Meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for the creation of an International Law on plastic pollution and that binds all the Member States of the United Nations scheduled for May in Paris and on the preparations for the Second Session of the UN-HABITAT Assembly scheduled for next June in Nairobi.

Ambassador Sianga Abílio made a presentation on the latest political and diplomatic developments in Angola with emphasis on the results of the visit of His Majesty the King of Spain Filipe VI; the Mini-Summit on Central African Republic and the participation in Addis Ababa, of the President of the Republic of Angola João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, at the 36th Summit of the African Union, which included the Mini-Summit on Peace and Security in Eastern DRC.
